FATHER and SON RETREAT 2017 UPDATE
 The weekend of 7 to 10 April 2017 saw 156 fathers and their sons (5-10 years old) representing many of our UK churches gather at the UK Scouts Head Quarters, Gilwell Park in London.
Titled “Incredible”, the weekend brought lads and their dads together to work on and deepen their relationships. One of the highlights of the weekend was a talk given by London church elder Paul Rowden and his son Daniel. The weekend also brought with it some great conversations, bible devotionals and skits addressing character traits such as integrity, loyalty...
For our retreat, the idea was for the dads to form a pact to bond together and help each other in raising their sons to become "Spiritual Modern-day Knights" (boys who will one day grow up and leave their parent's homes with the right perspective on manhood).
A big thank you to all who played a part to make it memorable for both lads and dads and God willing, we will do it all again in Spring 2018!!!
